Changes to our Account and Access Facility Conditions of Use

Notice to Customers

Illawarra Credit Union is making changes to our Account and Access Facility Conditions of Use effective 4 June 2025.

A new version of the Account and Access Facility Conditions of Use document will be available from this date.

To help you understand the changes that may affect you, we’ve provided a summary of the key items below.

1. Clarity when using VISA for International Transactions.

Reimbursements to us may apply where customers fail to comply with any exchange control requirements.

Clarity on payment processing timeframes between countries.

2. Introduction of Confirmation of Payee.

A new Section 28 has been added and includes all details relating to the Confirmation of Payee service.

Confirmation is a service that applies when sending money. It is designed to help payers avoid scams or mistaken payments.
